G1 Won't charge battery

1989 Yamaha G1 2 Cycle Gas - will not charge after changing battery, starter/generator, and voltage regulator. After reading your post regarding the magneto and how to check the current through it....when I tested mine the brown wire coming out of the Magneto tested 100, the white and red to green and white wires read 8.
Do you have any additional suggestions you can provide to walk me through this?
